Reel Therapy: West Haven woman offers free fishing trips to disabled veterans (video)
WEST HAVEN — It’s early evening, and along the west wall of New Haven Harbor, Brian Youssef is reeling in the first catch of the day.

Please join us for our next event, "Veteran's Day at Bennett Rink", on Monday evening, February 27th, at 6 pm. This is a weather reschedule from Saturday, February 11. Prior to the start of the match between West Haven High School and Fermi High School (both of CT), there will be a on-ice pre-game ceremony honoring our local veterans. The ceremony will include a live performance of the National Anthem by the 102nd Army Band's Brass Quintet, a color guard, a prayer for the fallen, and the playing of Taps. All attending veterans are admitted for free with a valid military I.D. The City of West Haven and Bennett Rink have generously agreed to donate the proceeds from ticket sales to VA Charters. Members of the local press and radio will be there as well. Please join us in honoring our local servicemen and women if you can.
